After the steep, hair-pin-famous climb of Bealach Na Ba, on the way to Applecross, Scotland, I did a circuit of the peninsula and caught up with Dutch cycle tourists Hans and Ronald.

I was overjoyed — I had cyclists to photograph. It takes an age to place myself in the photos, either by balancing my iPhone on a tripod or launching the drone.

“See you in 100 metres,” joked Hans as I photographed him photographing the spectacular scenery. Around every bend we’d each stop, gawp and shoot.
